The Rehearsal Space at The Old Mill, (formerly known as Sportsworks and managed by Gull and Company) opened in Ballarat on March 29th, 2003 and closed in November 2005.

The Rehearsal Space was established in Ballarat by Ian Sandercoe. The spaces were open to the public for use as rehearsal rooms, all age music and performance venue, holiday workshop venue, tuition in vocal and song writing and a showcase area for live original music. The Rehearsal Space Recording Studio was established in mid 2003.

The largest room – previously known as the Nashville room was established as a live entertainment environment. Lighting and sound created the dynamics atmosphere for artists with live concerts.
